It is important that your precious items of jewellery are insured just in case you need to make a claim. We hope you don't ever need to.

The most common reason you may have a valuation is that your insurer requires you to have one for them to provide the right cover, we provide professional written valuations for insurance purposes, probate, or private sales.

Home & Office Valuations

At Lauren Gardner Jewellery & Appraisals we offer a home or office valuation service to ensure your items remain with you, and our valuations are carried out discretely and securely.

Our experts will travel to a location most convenient to you, examine your jewellery thoroughly, grade any diamonds and gemstones, and we check any claws and mounts for loose settings. They will then take several digital photographs all so your jewellery stays with you, the expert valuer will then go away and compile a written valuation document ready to send to you or with your permission, straight to your insurance company or solicitor.

We value all types of fine jewellery, including gold bullion and we grade loose diamonds and gemstones.

Most jewellers will retain your jewellery for several weeks and charge a percentage of the jewellery valuation. However, your jewellery will remain with you and we charge a fixed fee per item. There are no hidden charges so you will know the cost before agreeing to it.

Our expert specialises in high-net worth jewellery, designer jewellery, antique jewellery and luxury watches and every thing in between.
